Bevan Wilson @ The Boodles
Four of the top ten players in men's tennis will feature at The Boodles Challenge 2010 this week and James Avery of Bevan Wilson will be helping them in their Wimbledon preparations by providing physiotherapy support.
The line-up for this year's tournament, at Stoke Park in Buckinghamshire from 15th - 19th June, is headlined by Novak Djokovic, Nikolay Davydenko, Fernando Verdasco and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga who will entertain the crowds at this Summer's most exclusive exhibition tennis tournament.
The pre-Wimbledon warm-up event will welcome world number 3 and top seed Djokovic, winner of an ATP Tour title this year in Dubai. Joining him is Davydenko (5) who clinched his 20th career ATP World Tour title in Doha at the beginning of 2010 following victory in last season's Barclays ATP World Tour Finals at London's o2 Arena. Fernando Verdasco (9) is the third highest ranked player at The Boodles Challenge 2010 having cemented his place in the top ten over the last few months following two exceptional tournament wins in four finals this year, whilst French sensation Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (10) completes an impressive top ten line-up.
They will head up another elite field of players including the 2009 Boodles Challenge Champion Philipp Kohlschreiber, former Wimbledon finalist David Nalbandian, Gilles Simon, Gael Monfils, Juan Monaco, Victor Hanescu and Ernests Gulbis.
This will be the tournament's ninth year on the grass courts of Stoke Park and is set to be the most exciting yet. Coming just a week before the All England Championships, the players will use The Boodles Challenge as the perfect preparation to fine tune their games for SW19.
The tournament, which is created and hosted by boutique international sports management and marketing company ACE Group, will be in its ninth year and sponsors at this year's event include title sponsor Boodles, Jaguar, Patek Philippe and Chubb Insurance.
Tickets are available by calling 020 7384 4877or visit www.theboodles.com.
