Bevan Wilson Proud to support FInlay’s Fighters Donegal Challenge

Bevan Wilson were delighted to support an awe-inspiring event when eighteen determined, committed cyclists cycled over 500miles in 5days from Cranleigh in Surrey to Dunfanaghy in Donegal for Finlay’s Fighters Three Peaks Challenge and Abbie’s Army.

The event aimed to raise funds for vital research into treatment for DIPG – a rare and life-limiting brain tumour affecting children and for which there is no cure.

James from Bevan Wilson supported the cyclists for the first three days as they cycled from Cranleigh to Holyhead in Wales. He was astounded by the cyclist’s guts and determination, battling the elements (and some pretty ropy farm tracks) across England, Snowdonia and beyond to Holyhead and the ferry to Dublin.

The event was a great success with all of the athletes completing their goal and over £17000 being raised however research is very expensive and they hope to raise much more so if you are able to donate even a small amount then it would truly be appreciated. Donations can be made via Just Giving. Thank you.
