Coronavirus Update: Supporting our patients, Supporting the NHS
I sincerely hope that as you read this, you, your family and your friends are well.
It has been a strange and unpredictable time for us all and has certainly seen many changes, across all areas of life, forcing us all to adapt and improvise.
I am pleased that whilst we had to close our Clinic premises in March, we have remained OPEN for video consultation assessments and treatments. Using simple to use software, these have been a great success, enjoyed and well-reviewed by both patients and clinicians!
Those patients who attended our Clinics before lock-down will be aware that our Team undertook extensive fact-finding and preparations to ensure the safety of our patients whilst undergoing treatment. Despite these efforts, we took the decision via a video Team meeting on Sunday 22nd March to close our doors to the public. On 23rd March this was confirmed to be the correct decision, when we were advised to close by our professional body, the CSP.
Unfortunately, these Clinic closures resulted in some of the Team being furloughed as part of our emergency planning, to ensure the ongoing longevity of the business and our services. I would like to publicly thank our Team for their commitment, professionalism and teamwork; our ongoing and long-term services wouldn’t have been possible without each and everyone of you playing your part!
I would also like to thank all our patients for your support and understanding at this challenging time. We will re-open for face to face consultations as soon as possible (with protective procedures in place) however in the meantime we will post on these pages some of the services that we are able to offer during lock-down and how we are trying to do all that we can to support both our patients and also the NHS………
Please stay home and stay safe whenever you can.
Best wishes
James
